Proven experience in SRE, DevOps or similar role for 5-7 years
Proficient using source control tools (git, github)
Experience with Containers and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience building and running cloud infrastructure
Knowledge of networking fundamentals and configuration
Knowledge of infrastructure security and its implementation
Experience with setting up of monitoring and alerting
Experience working with ElasticSearch and ELK stack is plus
Intermediate proficiency with one programming language and programming principles e.g (Python, Go, Java, Javascript, Ruby, Rust)
Scripting language (Bash, Groovy)
Experience working with Infrastructure as Code
Configuration as code experience with Ansible
Resource Orchestration experience using Terraform
Strong experience working with Linux systems
Knowledge of developing CI/ CD pipelines preferably Jenkins
Experience working in an Agile environment with Sprints
Strong critical thinking, problem solving and debugging skill
Fantastic communication skills and an ability to explain technical concepts across various levels of technical competency
Proficiency in Python or Golang
Experience working with ElasticSearch and ELK stack
Experience with Build Artifact management tools (Artifactory, Google Artifact Registry)
Understanding of authentication mechanisms (LDAP, OpenID, User TLS)
Experience building optimised Docker Images
Experience with Nginx or Apache web proxy
Experience deploying Google Cloud Kubernetes Clusters(GKE K8s)
Strong Networking and Security knowledge
Strong Kubernetes knowledge
Strong Jenkins knowledge
Jmeter and Benchmarking experience
